This is a totally unique and unusual book report idea for you to consider using the next time your teacher decides to have a brilliant idea and have you do a creative book report project.
Here is what you will need to prepare for this report:
- A poster board
- Balloons
- Small pieces of paper
- Markers
Take your poster paper and create a headline in the middle which is the name of your book and author.
Creatively color the center area of the poster sheet or cut out pictures from magazines or newspapers which represent the book and its setting. Maybe some of the characters had pets or did a certain type of job.
Around the outside edges of the poster board you ar going to draw a border and make boxes. This will look something like a game board when you ar done. In each box label it with something you need to talk about at your book report presentation. These should be main characters, timeline, setting, conflicts, summary, your opinion of the author, etc. Whatever your teacher requests from you should be presented in these boxes.
Now take the pieces of paper and write the information for each of the boxes. For example you should have a box on the edge of the poster board labeled main characters. Now on this piece of paper list your main characters. Blow up a inflate and roll that piece of paper up and put into the blown up balloon. Tie it and tape it onto the box labelled main characters on the poster page. Now do this with all the other boxes and balloons.
When presenting your book report as you get to each item take a pen and pop your inflate to create a spectacular effect. Take the paper that falls out and pick it up and read your information.
This is just a fun and entertaining way to present your next book report project.
